2014 Recap

On the 5th of March 2013 I recieved the gift of a life, a double lung transplant. I had been waiting my whole life (well as long as transplants have been around, anyway) for the surgery that could change my life. The operation and recovery was extremely difficult both mentally and physically but somehow I found the strength to get through it all and 3 months later I was at home with my new lungs. It took me about a month to regain enough strength to start going out and even then it was only short trips to the shops. By August I had started to go out more and more and by the end of the year I was driving by myself and building my confidence in "The real world"

High Tea - High Fashion

With the #ChariTea event around the corner, ladies have been asking me what they should wear to dress "like a lady". This blog post will hopefully give you some ideas as well as a few do's and don'ts, but at the end of the day please just wear what you are comfortable with.

First "ChariTea" Event

The very first (of hopefully many) ladies high tea event will be on Woman's day, Saturday the 9th of August at Bella. All profits made will go to the Organ Donor Foundation which they will use for their EMERGENCY FLIGHT FUND to fetch organs from distant places, ORGAN REFERRALS EDUCATION for emergency rooms, and their PUBLIC AWARENESS INITIATIVE aimed at raising more registered organ donors such as you!
